This beautifully designed complex is right on the coast, a short walk from the township of Alyangula. The resort is operated on behalf of Groote Eylandt Aboriginal landholders and provides a terrific experience. The complex is built off the ground for minimal environmental impact. The restaurant is excellent but the two best features are the Aboriginal cultural centre and the beach. A walk along the coastline may provide glimpses of dugongs, manta rays, small whales, dolphins and possibly a crocodile. Sunsets and sunrises can be viewed from an elevated deck close to the restaurant.
