Mount Borradaile Safari Camp

Mount Borradaile has some of the best Aboriginal cultural sites and wilderness in northern Australia. Located in north-west Arnhem Land, a 40-minute flight from Darwin, the safari camp here is operated by Max and Philippa Davidson. Max has lived and worked in the region for more than 30 years and has been entrusted by local Aboriginal people to conduct tours in the region. The various rock-art sites are stunning, and better than Kakadu; the barramundi fishing is terrific and the crocodiles are huge. Mount Borradaile is on the edge of the Arnhem Land escarpment, looking out over the flood plains. This is paradise for birdwatchers, photographers and anglers.
