This campsite is located in Kakadu National Park

Legendary for its wildlife, Indigenous culture, beautiful wetlands and sensational views from plunging escarpments, Kakadu is an iconic World Heritage Area, with plenty of scope for camping. It is huge, with a multitude of landscapes, habitats and wildlife. There are many thousands of plant species and insects as well as animals, reptiles and frogs. Camping opportunities range from managed campgrounds to free bush camping. Check the availability of facilities and make sure to take enough water. National Park rangers offer free guided walks and talks during the Dry, May–Oct. Many campsites close during the Wet, so it is best to check accessibility. A park pass is required for each person over the age of 16 who is not a NT resident; purchase the pass online or from the visitor centre.
