Alice Springs Desert Park

David Attenborough was so impressed by Alice Springs Desert Park that he proclaimed, ‘there is no museum or wildlife park in the world that could match it.’ Alice Springs Desert Park invites visitors to explore the arid lands and the relationship between its plants, animals and people. There are walking trails, films, interactive displays, guided tours and talks about flora, fauna and the ability of Aboriginal people to survive in such harsh conditions. The park has a spectacular desert nocturnal house with native marsupials such as the bilby and mala, and birds of prey shows twice daily.
