Chambers Pillar camping area
Campsite
Camping is permitted about 500 m before the pillar. Dogs are allowed on leads in the carpark only. The reserve is 160 km south of Alice Springs, along the Old South Rd. Turn west at Maryvale Station onto a 4WD track with deep sand drifts.
Easy walking tracks from the campsite give access to various views of Chambers Pillar, as well as other interesting rock formations nearby including Castle Rock, Window Rock and Eagle Rock.
