Desert Oaks Resort
Campsite
Packed with facilities, including a pool, tennis court, playground and licensed restaurant, the Desert Oaks Resort is 200 km south of Alice Springs, at the junction of the Stuart and Lasseter highways. It is another 2.5 hr drive to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, but campers with 4WD can explore places such as Rainbow Valley and Chambers Pillar in the area. Firewood can be supplied, but you will need to bring your own drinking water. There are powered and unpowered sites.
