This campsite is located in Finke Gorge National Park

The highlight of this beautiful park of red rock and the often dry Finke River is the hidden gorge of Palm Valley, where rare red cabbage palms flourish. Campers may also see rock wallabies and plentiful birdlife. The park is 138 km west of Alice Springs; turn south off Larapinta Dr just west of Hermannsburg. A 4WD is necessary to get into the park, and the track may be impassable after rain.
