Kata Tjuta

You have a choice of two walks among these spectacular red rocks (some even higher than Uluru). You can take the Walpa Gorge Walk, which is easier and shorter, or you might go partway along the more difficult Valley of the Winds Walk. You will see lots of birds at the creek bed if you wait quietly. Toilets are provided at the Sunset Viewing carpark but there is no kiosk, so bring food and drink. Don’t forget your fly nets (ignore the kids’ protests), and allow plenty of time to get back from your walk and drive out before the park closes.
