All sites have a view of the brightly coloured cliffs; in winter both sunrise and sunset light up the rocks – in other seasons this only happens at sunset. There is good birdlife along the marked trail to the cliffs.

This campsite is located in Rainbow Valley Conservation Reserve

This spectacular site displays a wide array of colour at sunset and in the early morning. Occasionally after rain a shallow claypan fills with water, providing wonderful reflections of the rocks. The reserve is signposted 100 km south of Alice Springs, off the Stuart Hwy and 4WD is recommended.
