Campsite
You’lll need to bring your own drinking water and firewood to this campsite. The access road is sandy and recommended for 4WD only.
All of the sites in this open but pleasant campground have a view of the brightly coloured cliffs. The claypan in front of the cliffs only fills after very heavy rain, but there is another claypan slightly further back that has water more often and provides fantastic reflections of the cliffs. The cliffs face northwest and in winter both sunrise and sunset light up the rocks. At other times it is only sunset. There is good birdlife along the trail to the cliffs and some interesting rock formations.
