This campsite is located in D'Aguilar National Park

D’Aguilar National Park consists of 2 distinct areas: the southern section (formerly Brisbane Forest Park) and the northern (formerly Mt Mee State Forest). The southern section features open eucalypt woodlands, lush subtropical rainforests and more than 800 plant species – all just a short drive from the Brisbane city centre. The southern section’s Walkabout Creek complex has an information centre, cafe and details about the amazing wildlife in the park, which includes endangered giant barred frogs and yellow-bellied gliders. Other features to enjoy include scenic lookouts, picnic and BBQ areas, bushwalking tracks, horseriding and cycling trails. The northern section extends all the way to Woodford, and boasts lookouts and excellent walking tracks. For those less active, there’s a popular half-day mountain drive covering The Gantry, Rocky Hole and the relaxing picnic spot at Broadwater. The Falls lookout over D’Aguilar is another must-see in the northern section. Advance bookings are required for all camping in the park.
