On the Warrego Highway, some 20 kilometres north-west of Ipswich, this is a large heritage-listed house overlooking Scenic Rim country. Woodlands can accommodate 115 guests in a number of different types of rooms in different houses, ranging from bunk-bed arrangements with shared facilities to deluxe ensuite motel-style units. Murder mystery nights in the old sandstone cellar are very popular, as are Sunday lunches on the verandah of the main mansion.
