Gallagher Point camping area
One of Bribie’s smallest campsites, with just 6 numbered sites, this camping area is typically popular with backpackers who can easily access the grounds, just 3 km north of White Patch Ranger Headquarters. There is boat access via Pumicestone Passage and 4WD access via White Patch Espl. There is no toilet block. Bring your own drinking water and firewood.

Linked to the mainland by bridge via the Caboolture–Bribie Island Rd, beautiful Bribie is a popular weekend getaway for Brisbane residents and a relaxed holiday spot for tourists seeking sun, sand and a chilled-out vibe. There’s no shortage of activities on the island: 2 golf courses, scenic cruises, heritage walks and lawn bowls are on offer. The array of wildlife includes dolphins, dugongs and turtles. Bribie is east of Caboolture in the north of Moreton Bay. Advance bookings are required for camping here.
