Ocean Beach camping area
Bribie’s biggest camping area, the 64 sites are set behind sand dunes and reached via defined tracks. Access is 4WD only from the Eighth Ave carpark off North St, Woorim, but you’ll need to check tide times before departing. Visitors are required not to take their 4WD vehicles on the dunes or to create new tracks. Note: toilet facilities are provided at the camping area accessed by track P. Bring your own drinking water and a gas/fuel stove.

Linked to the mainland by bridge via the Caboolture–Bribie Island Rd, beautiful Bribie is a popular weekend getaway for Brisbane residents and a relaxed holiday spot for tourists seeking sun, sand and a chilled-out vibe. There’s no shortage of activities on the island: 2 golf courses, scenic cruises, heritage walks and lawn bowls are on offer. The array of wildlife includes dolphins, dugongs and turtles. Bribie is east of Caboolture in the north of Moreton Bay. Advance bookings are required for camping here.
