Poverty Creek camping area
Poverty Creek campsite is a popular family area, with 12 numbered sites and a group camping area suitable for camper trailers. Bring your own drinking water and firewood. Access is via White Patch Espl (navigable by 4WD only), or by boat from Pumicestone Passage.

Linked to the mainland by bridge via the Caboolture–Bribie Island Rd, beautiful Bribie is a popular weekend getaway for Brisbane residents and a relaxed holiday spot for tourists seeking sun, sand and a chilled-out vibe. There’s no shortage of activities on the island: 2 golf courses, scenic cruises, heritage walks and lawn bowls are on offer. The array of wildlife includes dolphins, dugongs and turtles. Bribie is east of Caboolture in the north of Moreton Bay. Advance bookings are required for camping here.
