Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium
During the day you can see shows about the universe, including fun kids’ shows with titles such as Secret of the Cardboard Rocket, and on Saturday nights you can join an astronomer for a live viewing and explanation of the night sky (suitable for children aged 6 years and over). Note: Brisbane, as well as this planetarium, is named after Sir Thomas Brisbane, a Governor of New South Wales in the 1820s and an eminent astronomer who helped map the southern skies.
