Four Mile Beach - Port Douglas

Port Douglas’ Four Mile Beach is undisturbed by development, and is long enough to get away from any peak-season crowds. It begins at a rocky headland and then gently sweeps away to the hills in the distance. There is a fringe of tropical vegetation and a stinger net in place at the northern end of the beach during the wet season. Visitors should swim only in this netted area during this time of the year. The beach is also a wonderful setting for a walk at any time of the year.
