Zinc is casual, chic, fun and foodie heaven, but without the fuss, pretentiousness or over pricing. During the day enjoy anything from tapas and bruchetta to light mains, and children’s meals are served until 6.30pm. The food is fresh, the service spot-on and the atmosphere totally relaxed, thanks to a regular clientele happy to make it their local. Perhaps part of the atmosphere can be contributed to the fish – not the ones you eat but the ones in the largest privately owned aquarium on the east coast of Australia. Here’s a hint: you probably won’t see the aquarium until you have been in the restaurant for a while.
