Cape York camping area (bush camping), Martin Henderson

It isn’t an easy route, with river crossings to navigate and unstable road conditions, but driving to the tip of Cape York is one of Australia’s most sensationally scenic 4WD trips. You’ll find a number of bush campsites throughout the Cape, north from the Dulhunty River on Injinoo Community Council land. The best time to visit is June–Sept. Note: alcohol restrictions apply in the far north cape; check limits and zoned areas before embarking.
