Bush camping is permitted at this site, 19 km north of Sam Creek camping area at the far north end of the 4WD Telegraph Track. There are no facilities; bring all self-sufficient gear.

This campsite is located in Jardine River National Park

Inhabited for thousands of years by Indigenous ‘sandbeach people’, Jardine River National Park sprawls across 237 000 ha between Telegraph Rd and Cape York Peninsula’s northern tip. The park includes the state’s largest perennial waterway, the Jardine River, and provides a habitat for numerous bird species, such as the palm cockatoo and yellow-billed kingfisher. Access is by 4WD vehicles only. Advance bookings are required for camping.
