On the northern bank of the Auburn River, this site has 5 camping and 6 bush camping sites close to bushwalking tracks. Don’t drink the river water; the tank water available on-site must be treated or boiled, and you need to bring milled firewood. To get there from Mundubbera, take Duron Rd for 13 km, then take Hawkwood Rd for 20 km to the signposted park access road. A 4WD is recommended in wet weather. Stay on the road, as soils are treacherous when wet.
