Hugely popular in the winter months, this beautiful riverside campground in the town of Baralaba is a favourite with campers from southern Australian states looking to escape the cold weather in a picturesque spot. There’s a dump point for caravan waste 500 m away at the showground. The town is on the Dawson River, 96 km north-west of Biloela and 141 km south-west of Rockhampton. You’ll need to bring your own water and firewood.
