Old Forestry Camp camping area
Campsite
The site of a former Forestry barracks, you can bush camp along the ridge among the bunya pines. There are no facilities besides a picnic platform, so campers must be totally self-sufficient. Scenic drives through the forest are recommended; a 4WD loop road passes through the rainforest. It is on Granite Creek Forest Rd, west of the Bruce Hwy and 50 km north-east of Monto.
