Whether you prefer swimming at the beach or boating on a river, you’re blessed with the choice of both at Burrum Coast National Park. The sandy camping area is just a short walk from the beach at Burrum Point, and Burrum River is also close by. The campground has 13 numbered sites, cold showers and toilets. It is 8 km south of Woodgate; access is signposted on Walkers Point Rd from Woodgate. Note: it is 4WD access only, and roads may be closed during extreme wet weather.

Covering more than 23 000 ha, Burrum Coast National Park boasts a stunning natural environment with mangrove-lined riverbanks, wallum heath wildflowers and tea-tree swamps. Also known for its rare wildlife and quiet beaches, the park is divided into 3 main sections: Woodgate, Kinkuna and Burrum River. Advance bookings are required for all camping.
