Wreck Rock camping area
Campsite
This small campsite behind the frontal dunes at the south-eastern end of Deepwater National Park has 14 sites for a maximum of 6 people each. It provides excellent beachfront camping with sand and woodchip surfaces and is just a skip across the sand dunes to the beach. The park is near the tiny town of Seventeen Seventy where you can join a range of tours and boat trips to Lady Musgrave Island and Fitzroy Reef. Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy are the closest mainland points to the outer Great Barrier Reef. Although 2WD vehicles can reach the campsite from Bundaberg, it is advisable to use a 4WD in the park and north of Wreck Rock Rd.
