Lake Murphy camping area
Campsite
This large camping area has plenty of space for motorhomes and large groups looking for a shady spot near the lake, which is a seasonal refuge for waterbirds. You’ll need to bring firewood and drinking water. It is 13 km along the Glen Haughton–Expedition National Park Rd, off the Leichhardt Hwy, 18 km north of Taroom. Access is via the main road into the park, near the picnic area.
