Self-sufficient visitors can camp at this site on the banks of Lake Nuga Nuga. Access (in dry weather only) is via the main road to the park, 7 km from Arcadia Valley Access Rd. The surface is a combination of dirt and grass and there are no defined sites. Bring water, firewood and preferably a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Nuga Nuga National Park

At the northern end of Arcadia Valley, Nuga Nuga National Park is a popular destination for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and bushwalking. It is about 400 km west of Gladstone, approximately 150 km north of Injune via Mulcahy Rd from the Carnarvon Developmental Rd. Check the road conditions, as there is access in dry weather only.
