You will need either a four-wheel drive or a high-clearance vehicle to get to this unusual retreat. Leave your 240-volt appliances behind when you come here because you are in for a real self-sufficient experience. For lighting, twelve-volt power is generated by a water-powered turbine from Adjinbilly Creek. There is a composting toilet, a gravity-fed water supply to cabins from the creek, rainwater from tanks for drinking and wood-fired heating with wood supplied.
