This camping area among the shady red and blue gums of Lake Broadwater Conservation Park lies 30 km south-west of Dalby. The lake is a popular watersports venue and the surrounding forests are great for birdwatching. The camping area is 10 km along Lake Broadwater Rd, off the Moonie Hwy. Bring your own firewood and treat or boil the water provided before drinking.

This campsite is located in Lake Broadwater Conservation Park

An important refuge for waterbirds and other wildlife, Lake Broadwater is surrounded by cypress pine, eucalypt and brigalow open woodland. The park, 30 km south-west of Dalby, preserves valuable remnants of the vegetation types that once covered the western Downs. Access to the lake is signposted off the Moonie Hwy, 20 km west of Dalby.
