On the northern side of Lake Broadwater, this secluded campground is linked to Lake Broadwater camping area via a 2 km track. You can learn about the park’s vegetation along the walking track and see the remains of an old dingo fence built in the 1860s. The site is 8 km along Lake Broadwater Rd, off the Moonie Hwy. Treat or boil the water provided before drinking and bring your own firewood.

This campsite is located in Lake Broadwater Conservation Park

An important refuge for waterbirds and other wildlife, Lake Broadwater is surrounded by cypress pine, eucalypt and brigalow open woodland. The park, 30 km south-west of Dalby, preserves valuable remnants of the vegetation types that once covered the western Downs. Access to the lake is signposted off the Moonie Hwy, 20 km west of Dalby.
