This small campground in Moogerah Peaks, suitable for walk-in camping only, is located 11 km west of Boonah on Mt French Rd, signposted 1 km south of Boonah off the Boonah–Rathdowney Rd. Bring your own firewood. There is a carpark and day-use area close to the campsites.

This campsite is located in Moogerah Peaks National Park

This small national park includes a number of isolated mountain peaks, such as Mt Edwards (632 m), Mt French (579 m), Mt Greville (770 m) and Mt Moon (784 m), the result of volcanic activity in the area some 22 million years ago. The vegetation on the mountains is mainly open eucalypt forest, with spotted gum, grey gum and stringybark. Advance bookings are required for camping.
