Chill down with a dip in the beautiful waterholes at Wongi, but note that fishing is not allowed and jumping or diving is not recommended. There is conventional vehicle access and plenty of space for caravans, motorhomes and large groups. Signposted access is along Warrah Rd, 10 km west of the Bruce Hwy. Bring a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Wongi State Forest

Wongi State Forest has several waterholes fringed by paperbarks and surrounded by eucalypt forest. Wongi protects hoop pine rainforest, open eucalypt forest, open woodland with a heath understorey and exotic pine plantations. Visitors can follow a section of the Bicentennial National Trail in the forest. Advance bookings are required for camping.
