Enzo’s on the Beach
This is the kind of seaside cafe you can often only dream of finding in these days of big resorts claiming much of the waterfront. At Scarness, the quiet end of the bay, Enzo’s feels almost European with its relaxed attitude to sharing the beach. You can eat at the tables, hire a table and chairs and umbrella and have your meal served to you on the beach, or simply buy a takeaway and walk a couple of steps to sit on the grass overlooking the bay. Lunch ranges from bruschetta to burgers, and an Asian-style steamed fish and salad. The coffee’s good, breakfasts are generous, and there are biscuits and cakes for morning and afternoon teas.
