Cedar Glen Farmstay

Children will love helping to collect the eggs, milk the cows and feed the stock at this working farm 34 kilometres south of Beaudesert, nestled in the spectacular Lost World area near the western edge of Lamington National Park. Accommodation is available in Cedar Glen, the original homestead, built in 1901. Full board only, it includes country-style meals and picnics, home-baked bread, organic vegetables, free-range eggs and the farm’s own beef and dairy produce. There are also three self-catering cottages for six to 11 people: the restored 100-year-old Stinson Cottage; the slightly larger century-old Wallaby Cottage; and Dairy Cottage built in the 1940s and suitable for two families. Full-board options for meals in the main homestead are also available for cottage stays.
