The natural bush setting makes this one of the most peaceful family-oriented spots in the Scenic Rim. The Logan River offers fantastic bass and mullet fishing, there’s an assortment of wildlife (turtles, lorikeets, kookaburras) and at night you can relax around the warmth of the campfire. To get to this reserve, head south from Rathdowney on the Mt Lindesay Hwy and turn right onto Boonah–Rathdowney Rd. Follow this road for 7 km and then turn left into Upper Logan Rd. Follow this road for 4 km to a T-intersection and turn right into the reserve. Bookings are recommended for peak periods.
