Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

At the 27-hectare Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary there are freeranging animals, crocodile wetlands with raised walkways, a walk-through rainforest aviary, and a miniature railway that takes you throughout the sanctuary. A highlight is the twice-daily feeding of wild rainbow lorikeets. Wild Island offers an interactive playground with a Spider Web climb and a subterranean burrow system that makes you feel like an underground dweller. Wildnight Adventures include an Aboriginal dance display and up-close encounters with the nocturnal wildlife, many of which can be handfed.
