A south-east Queensland gem, this privately managed mountain-top site has long been a favourite with campers for its stunning panoramic views of the Numinbah Valley. Activities at Binna Burra include guided bushwalks, abseiling, flying fox, a kids’ club and superb dining at the Binna Burra Tea House or Clifftop Dining Room. Also on offer are furnished, safari-style tents (2–6 people) with beds, tables and chairs, lighting and your own private verandah with beautiful valley or rainforest views. This campsite is part of the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk. The location is Binna Burra Rd, 28 km south of Canungra. Bookings are essential for weekends and peak periods.

This campsite is located in Gold Coast Hinterland

This 54 km hiking trail traverses 2 World Heritage–listed national parks, over the top of a dormant volcano and behind a waterfall. It is best approached from west to east, starting at Green Mountains camping area and finishing at the Settlement. Note: Binna Burra is a privately operated campsite, and bookings for it must be made separately from those made through NPRSR. Walkers are required to purchase a topographic map of the Great Walk before embarking.
