There are 526 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms at 80-storey Q1, the world’s tallest residential building. Apartment balconies are, understandably, glass enclosed. An observation deck on floors 77 and 78 is definitely not for the vertiginous. Q1 is in the southern Surfers Paradise precinct close to the beach and a short walk to the Gold Coast’s designer retail precinct, Saville Circle on Cavill.
