Lawn Hill National Park

Situated near the Queensland and Northern Territory border is an outback gorge system where brilliant green waters flow through red cliffs. Known as Boodjamulla, or Lawn Hill National Park, this outback oasis brings kayakers up close with fish, turtles and a huge variety of bird species. Lawn Hill Creek and the nearby Gregory River are fed by fresh-water springs that originate in a limestone plateau. These waters flow continuously through the gorges. Camp in the national park or nearby in Adels Grove, and kayak through the gorge.
