This campground is accessed via the Route of River Gums. Campers are encouraged not to tie ropes to trees or drape things over vegetation, and to set up camp away from animal nests and burrows. Bring self-sufficient supplies, including drinking water and a gas/fuel stove. The campsite offers good access to Scrammy Lookout and Bladensburg Homestead.

This campsite is located in Bladensburg National Park

Situated 17 km south-west of Winton, Bladensburg National Park is a great place for a scenic drive along the River Gum route or Scrammy Dr to the spectacular lookout. Conventional vehicles can access Bladensburg during dry weather only; a high-clearance 4WD is recommended. Most of the driving roads in the park are suitable for mountain-bikers. Advance bookings are required for camping.
