Campsite
Devastated by floods in March 2010 when the Balonne River swelled by more than 10 m, St George is at the junction of the Carnarvon, Balonne and Moonie highways, about 200 km west of Goondiwindi and 285 km east of Cunnamulla. The campground for self-sufficient campers is by the creek in Bollon, on the Balonne Hwy, 112 km west of St George. Note: there are no toilets and no amenities block.
