Ward River camping area (bush camping)
Campsite
The Ward River bush camping area is on the east side of the river on the Diamantina Developmental Rd, about 20 km west of Charleville. Visitors must be totally self-sufficient; there is no amenities block and no powered sites. On the Warrego River, Charleville can be reached from the Mitchell Hwy (Kidman Way), Warrego Hwy and Diamantina Developmental Rd.
