Gum Hole camping area
This campground is 11 km past the turn-off to Hunters Gorge, about 21 km west of the ranger station on Boulia Rd. A pit toilet and self-registration station are the only facilities; pick up a drive guide brochure from the self-registration station. Bring your own drinking water and a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Diamantina National Park
Shaped by sandstone ranges, grass plains, waterholes and wetlands, this 500 000 ha national park lies about 300 km south-west of Winton. The scenic Warracoota Circuit drive (around 150 km) takes in historic sites and birdwatching and fishing hot spots. Travel via the Kennedy Developmental Rd if you’re coming from the north; from the south, take the Diamantina Developmental Rd.
