Monk’s Tank camping area
Campsite
Monk’s Tank has a clearing for self-sufficient camping with permits available from a self-registration station. To reach Idalia National Park, follow Isisford Rd from Blackall for 42 km then turn left onto Yaraka Rd. At the Benlidi siding, turn left and follow the ldalia–Benlidi Rd for 34 km to the park boundary. The park has several easy walks through rocky gorges and tablelands.
