Camping is permitted beside the Barcoo River in Isisford. The camping area has a toilet block; the nearby park has an amenities block with showers. The Barcoo River offers excellent fishing, camping, canoeing and birdwatching. Isisford is about 120 km west of Blackall and about 85 km south of Ilfracombe.
