Self-sufficient bush camping (with a permit) is allowed near the old shearing shed, about 4.5 km from the homestead, accessible by 4WD only. Open fires and generators are not permitted. Bring water and a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Moorrinya National Park

Shaped by dry, flat plains and crucial water catchments, Moorrinya National Park is about 90 km south of Torrens Creek or 180 km north of Aramac on Torrens Creek–Aramac Rd. It is accessible only by 4WD during dry weather. Expect to see plenty of wildlife in the region including kangaroos, koalas, emus and dingoes. Note: the park may be closed Nov–Apr.
