Self-sufficient campers are welcome to camp in Thrushton National Park, but be aware that there are no facilities or amenities and it is very rarely patrolled. Come equipped with drinking water and a gas/fuel stove, as fires are prohibited. There are no self-registration facilities at this park.

This campsite is located in Thrushton National Park

About 40 km north-east of Bollon in southern Qld, Thrushton National Park is a popular reserve for nature lovers. About 130 km north-west of St George and 190 km south of Mitchell, the park is accessible only in dry weather, and 4WD vehicles are recommended.
