The Australian national song, Waltzing Matilda, was first performed publicly in the North Gregory Hotel in 1895. As country pubs are known to do, the hotel has burned down a few times since then.
Accommodation includes ensuite hotel and motel rooms, and there are also large family rooms, backpacker rooms and a caravan park.
