Australia Zoo

Once a small park, the Australia Zoo was made famous by ‘The Crocodile Hunter’, Steve Irwin, who was tragically killed by a stingray in 2006. Originally developed by Irwin’s parents, the complex is now over 20 hectares and home to a wide range of animals. At the Australia Zoo, see the otters catching fish, the birds of prey soaring in the sky, the ever-popular crocodile demonstrations, or feed the baby animals by hand in the Kids Zoo.
