Noosa National Park
Back to nature
In this easily accessible section of coastal rainforest there are lovely beaches and a network of walking trails. You have a chance of spotting lace monitors (a type of large lizard) and koalas, and of glimpsing of humpback whales (June–November). Remember to stay on the trails and keep away from cliff edges. The beaches are great for exploring and the bushland comes right down to the sand, providing plenty of shade. Note: the water is not patrolled here and swimming can be dangerous (see Beaches, Noosa for safer options).
